Concerted Proton and Electron Transfer in Heterogeneous Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction
Concerted proton‐electron transfer (CPET) enables CO2‐to‐CO conversion with significantly reduced energy cost compared to cation‐stabilized pathways. Under controlled mass transport of proton donors, CPET dominates at modest potentials. At higher overpotentials, a cation‐stabilized pathway is found to dominate.

Blood vascular permeability is a hallmark of cancer and acts as an active driver of metastatic dissemination. Metastasis accounts for the vast majority of cancer deaths, yet most work has focussed on tumour‐intrinsic traits and angiogenesis, while the specific contribution of endothelial barrier regulation to intravasation and extravasation remains ...

Meloidogyne incognita impairs eggplant growth through gall formation with changes in root cell wall components and vascular tissue disruption, while the biocontrol agent Purpureocillium lilacinum mitigates these effects by reducing nematode infection. Abstract Meloidogyne spp. induce structural changes during the development of root‐knot galls, leading

Rotational relaxation of HCO+ and DCO+ by collision with H2
International audienceThe HCO + and DCO + molecules are commonly used as tracers in the interstellar medium. Therefore, accurate rotational rate coefficients of these systems with He and H 2 are crucial in non-local thermal equilibrium models.

Three-Winding Transformer-Based 60-GHz DCO with -185.1 dB FoM in 40-nm CMOS [PDF]
This letter presents a 60 GHz fundamental DCO featuring an FoM of –185.1 dB at a 10 MHz offset. The DCO is intended for a 60/120 GHz fundamental-and-harmonic dual-frequency Doppler radar thanks to its cost-efficiency advantages.

DFT Spread-Optical Pulse Amplitude Modulation for Visible Light Communication Systems
DC-biased optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) has been proposed in visible light communication (VLC) to overcome the limited modulation bandwidth of light emitting diode (LED).

Probing midplane CO abundance and gas temperature with DCO+ in the protoplanetary disk around HD 169142 [PDF]
Context. Physical and chemical processes in protoplanetary disks affect the disk structure and the midplane environment within which planets form. The simple deuterated molecular cation DCO+ has been proposed to act as a tracer of the disk midplane ...

LiNEV: Visible Light Networking for Connected Vehicles
DC-biased optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) has been introduced to visible light networking framework for connected vehicles (LiNEV) systems as a modulation and multiplexing scheme. This is to overcome the light-emitting diode

Abundance of DCO+ in Nearby Molecular Clouds [PDF]
DCO+ is one of the most common deuterated molecules in cold (TK ~ 10 K) molecular cloud cores such as TMC-1. We report the results of a survey for DCO+ and H13CO+ emission regions among a sample of low mass cloud cores. We compare the derived DCO+/HCO+ ratio (0.046±0.014) with current chemistry models for deuterium fractionation.
