IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1988
Four laboratory sessions bearing on direct digital control are presented. The basic considerations for the laboratory arrangement are exposed and the equipment is briefly reviewed. The main topics of these sessions deal with the quantization effects, the sampling phenomena, the performances of a DDC loop for controling a first-order plant and for ...

2017 7th International Conference on Cloud Computing, Data Science & Engineering - Confluence, 2017
The paper proposes a new clustering algorithm DSets-DDC. The idea is to use the technique of cluster assignment in DDC for growing clusters. The cores of clusters are identified through Dominant Sets. Instead of preparing all clusters at once, a peeling — off strategy is adopted.

Decentralized data center (DDC)
2017 IEEE MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference (URTC), 2017We present a solution that virtualizes data centers using blockchain technology and smart contracts in a way that allows extensibility of the traditional data center concept beyond its physical limitations. The system exposes itself as an autonomous, decentralized service with independent actors willing to participate in an incentive-based system.

Melvil Dewey provided generally applicable classification guidelines or rules with his classification schedules, beginning with the second edition of his scheme. Many cataloging textbooks have adopted these guidelines. Recent editions of the Dewey Decimal Classification, however, provide considerably changed, quite intricate, and edition-specific rules.
