Allopolyploidization events and immense paleogenome reshuffling underlying the diversification of plants and secondary metabolites in Oleaceae

open access: yesJournal of Systematics and Evolution, Volume 63, Issue 2, Page 208-228, March 2025.
In this study, we revealed the frequent allopolyploidization events and immense paleogenome reshuffling during the diversification of plants in Oleaceae. At the same time, we explored the effects of these ancient evolutionary events on the synthesis of specific secondary metabolites and environmental adaptability of extant plants from Oleaceae ...

Deep‐Focus Earthquake Mechanisms at the Subducting Nazca Plate (Peru‐Brazil Border): Cold Slab Behavior in a Warm Plate

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 11, Issue 10, October 2024.
Abstract We calculate focal mechanisms and centroid depths for deep‐focus earthquakes (DFEs) along the Peru‐Brazil border. We obtained a total of 28 focal solutions for events with magnitudes between 4.2 and 7.5 Mw and occurring between 2014 and 2022.

Integrase inhibitor drugs during pregnancy and congenital anomalies: A case/non‐case study from the global pharmacovigilance database VigiBase®

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 12, Issue 4, August 2024.
Abstract In 2018, a significant neural tube defects (NTD) signal was reported after pre‐conceptional exposure to dolutegravir, but was not confirmed in further analysis. Since 2019, dolutegravir‐based regimen, an integrase inhibitor (INI), is recommended by WHO as the most‐effective first‐line therapy in all patients living with HIV.

Interplay of Hydroperiod on Root Shear Strength for Coastal Wetlands

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 51, Issue 11, 16 June 2024.
Abstract The evolution of coastal wetlands is a complex process which is difficult to forecast, made more complicated by the addition of changing climatic conditions. Here, long term ecological and geomorphological data are coupled to geotechnical measurements at a coastal wetland in North Inlet estuary, South Carolina.

Ink‐Extrusion 3D Printing and Silicide Coating of HfNbTaTiZr Refractory High‐Entropy Alloy for Extreme Temperature Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 11, Issue 17, May 8, 2024.
This work demonstrates that an oxygen‐sensitive refractory high‐entropy alloy (RHEA) can achieve architecture freedom and good oxidation resistance by a series of simple processing steps: i) 3D ink‐extrusion printing, ii) interdiffusion‐sintering, and iii) silicide coating.

Review on Fatigue of Additive Manufactured Metallic Alloys: Microstructure, Performance, Enhancement, and Assessment Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 36, Issue 17, April 25, 2024.
Additive manufactured metals have excellent mechanical properties, but their fatigue resistance is an exception. This article reviews the processes attributes, hierarchical microstructure, fatigue performance, and evaluation methods. The fatigue failure mechanisms of printed metals were summarized, and the competition between trans‐scale ...

Synthesis and Coordination Behavior of a Hybrid Phosphanylferrocene Amidine Ligand

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 27, Issue 3, January 22, 2024.
Phosphanylferrocene amidine Ph2PfcN=CHNMe2 (fc=ferrocene‐1,1′‐diyl) was prepared as a new hybrid, ferrocene P,N‐ligand. In complexes with the light platinum metals, the compound readily coordinated as a P‐monodentate ligand. However, upon halogen removal, the phosphane complexes converted into P,N‐chelates, wherein both functional moieties at the ...
