Through Ruthenium‐catalysis, some limitations of Pd‐catalyzed C−H‐activation for the ortho‐alkenylation of acetamides with vinylsulfones and vinylsulfonamides can be overcome. The products are useful starting points for a short synthesis of sulfonylated pyrroloquinolines.
