Phenoxazinones caused differential types of phytotoxic effects in C. campestris early development. APO is a coherent lead inhibiting C. campestris germination and early seedling growth. Abstract BACKGROUND 2‐Amino‐3H‐phenoxazin‐3‐one (synonym: questiomycin A; abbreviated as APO or Phx‐3) is a naturally occurring phenoxazinone‐type allelochemical with ...

The acyclic mucobromic acid, activated by (1S)‐(+)‐10‐camphorsulfonic acid, afforded the chiral compound 1b, precursor for aza‐Michael addition/elimination on the butenolide yielding tetronamides 2b‐7b. Their relative SRSR configuration was confirmed by the spectrometric methods, DFT calculation and statistical methods.

Innovation in pest management: can the past inform the future?
Progress in pest management occurred incrementally, but occasionally, transformative discoveries introduced disruptive technologies. Looking ahead, generative artificial intelligence is expected to accelerate agricultural discovery by integrating vast datasets from mechanization, genetics, and chemistry.

Pesticide use in integrated pest and pollinator management framework to protect pollinator health
Integrated pest management (IPM) emphasizes non‐chemical methods, with pesticides as a last resort, while integrated pest and pollinator management (IPPM) integrates pollinator health into pest control strategies. Abstract Agricultural pesticides have historically been a critical tool in controlling pests and diseases, preventing widespread suffering ...
