Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Application of Dead Beat Control method to the Water Level Control of Small-scale Hydroelectric Power Plant [PDF]
Small Scale Hydroelectric Power Generation is made using the water drop caused by the gradient difference between that of the river and that of the penstock. The water flow in this system apt to vary with time.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Multivariable ripple-free deadbeat control [PDF]
The design of multivariable ripple-free deadbeat controllers is a complex task. One approach which has shown promise for solving multivariable ripple-free deadbeat control (MRFDC) problems is the use of Diophantine equation parameters. The problem of solving robust multivariable ripple free deadbeat with time delays has not been solved.

The Relationship Between Inflammation and Central Nervous System in Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Aim Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune demyelination disease that is seen especially in the young population and has a progressive course, causing motor, sensory, and cognitive deficits. In the literature, the pathogenesis of MS disease and the interconnection between the immune and central nervous system in the disease have not been fully ...

DESIGNING DIGITAL CONTROLLERS FOR A CONTROLLED PLANT
This paper report contains an explanation of how to design a digital controller using the Laplace Transform to z-Transform conversion method. The objectives are that the controlled system should track step input with a reasonably small steady-state error

Lessons Learned: Quality Analysis of Optical Coherence Tomography in Neuromyelitis Optica
ABSTRACT Introduction Optical coherence tomography (OCT)‐derived retina measurements are markers for neuroaxonal visual pathway status. High‐quality OCT scans are essential for reliable measurements, but their acquisition is particularly challenging in eyes with severe visual impairment, as often observed in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders ...

Network Localization of Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Background Fatigue is among the most common symptoms and one of the main factors determining the quality of life in multiple sclerosis (MS). However, the neurobiological mechanisms underlying fatigue are not fully understood. Here we studied lesion locations and their connections in individuals with MS, aiming to identify brain networks ...
