A New Cascaded Adaptive Deadbeat Control Method for PMSM Drive
IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2023In this article, we propose a novel cascaded adaptive deadbeat (CADB) control method for permanent magnet synchronous motor drives. First, an adaptive deadbeat (DB) based current controller is proposed with a simplified first-order current loop dynamic ...

DEADBEAT SELF TUNING CONTROLLERS
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1986Abstract The design of deadbeat self tuning controllers is discussed. Two types of models - a nonparametric (impulse response) and a parametric (ARMA) one are applied. The nonparametric model is estimated by the correlation method while the estimates of the parametric model are obtained using a modified recursive instrumental variables method.

Deadbeat tracking is considered. Consider a system described by \(x_{t+1}=A'x_ t+B'u_ t, y_ t=C'x_ t+D'u_ t\) and the reference generator described by \(w_{t+1}=A''w_ t, r_ t=C''w_ t.\) The deadbeat controller is defined by \(z_{t+1}=F'z_ t+G'y_ t+G''r_ t, u_ t=H'z_ t+J'y_ t+J''r_ t\) which makes \(y_ t\) track \(r_ t\) exactly after a finite time t ...

An adaptive algorithm is presented to incorporate deadbeat control as a principle design criterion. Since this algorithm does not require the solution of the diophantine equation at each sampling step, it possesses a computational advantage over the existing deadbeat control approaches, and so is suitable for application to adaptive systems.

Deadbeat Adaptive Control in Feedback
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983Abstract This paper is concerned with presenting a new procedure for designing adaptive control input of a linear multivariable discrete system with having unknown order for the model reference adaptive control problem. The adaptive control scheme proposed here exhibits more advanced characteristics than the previous ones. 1.

Robust-tracking deadbeat control
International Journal of Control, 1992We derive the parametrization of all controllers that achieve both the robust-tracking and the deadbeat control. We also give the parametrization of all reference functions for which the robust tracking and designed deadbeat property is guaranteed by all robust-tracking deadbeat controllers for one reference.
