Liveness of Disjunctive and Strict Single-Type Automated Manufacturing System: An ROPN Approach
The resource-oriented Petri net (ROPN) modeling method is applied in this paper to model a class of automated manufacturing systems (AMS) named disjunctive and strict single-type AMSs (DS-AMS), where multiple units of a single resource type are required ...

Energy Flexibilization and Demand Response for a Novel Decentralized Power‐to‐Methanol Process
This study presents the results of an optimization framework for the scheduling of a Power‐to‐methanol process coupled with an electrolyser, renewable energy sources and a battery. The optimal dynamic operating schedule is computed with different configurations and boundary conditions, showing the advantages of flexible operation.

A Petri Net Method for Compatibility Enforcement to Support Service Choreography
Non-local choice mismatch is one of the most important problems in the Internet-scale and service-based workflow ecosystems. The state-of-the-art method can solve it by generating adaptors to check deadlock-freeness based on a reachability graph.
