Separation of Trypsin Inhibitors of Human Plasma on DEAE-Cellulose.
SummaryChromatography of human plasma on DEAE-cellulose permits the separation of 3 fractions which inhibit trypsin. The first of these inhibits trypsin only partially, and is an α2-macroglobulin. The second fraction represents most of the inhibitor in plasma, and must be largely that previously identified with the α1-globulin fraction.

This study shows that almond polysaccharide AP1 relieves DSS‐induced UC in mice by restoring the mucosal barrier, suppressing inflammation, and modulating gut microbiota and SCFA metabolism. ABSTRACT The development of new therapeutic strategies for ulcerative colitis (UC) requires the targeting of multiple pathogenic factors, including disruption of ...

Chromatography of McCaslan Pole Bean Hemagglutinin on DEAE-Cellulose
SummaryA crude preparation of McCaslan Pole Bean phytohemagglutinin has been fractionated chromatographically on DEAE-cellulose. Hemagglutinating activity, followed by testing each fraction with an rbc panel, was found in 3 groups of fractions. In each of these groups the activity was panagglutinating and gave the same titers with each rbc used in ...

Immobilization ofβ-fructofuranosidase fromAureobasidium on DEAE-cellulose
β-Fructofuranosidase, which produces fructo-oligosaccharides (1-kestose and nystose) from sucrose, was purified fromAureobasidium and immobilized on DEAE-cellulose at especially high efficiency (95%). The enzymatic profiles of the immobilized enzyme were almost identical to those of the native form except that the stability was slightly improved.

Anti-Platelet Fraction Isolated from Galega Officinalis
A fraction from crude extract of Galega officinalis has been purified by column chromatography on Sephadex G-25, Sepharose 4B, DEAE-Cellulose and Sephadex G-100. The final purification factor of the fraction is 120.

Immobilization of the Protease of Carica papaya on DEAE-cellulose
Proteolytic enzymes can immobilize on different materials to constitute systems for continuous hydrolysis of protein substrates. They are mostly immobilized by binding some matrices filled in chromatographic columns and continuous proteolysis is accomplished by subsequent passing of the buffered substrates through the column bed from top to bottom and ...
