Three-dimensional hierarchical nanoporous copper via direct ink writing and dealloying
Three-dimensional (3D) hierarchical nanoporous Cu (3DHNP-Cu) is synthesized using a combination of direct ink writing (DIW) based 3D printing, thermal sintering, and chemical dealloying of Mn–Cu alloys.

Nickel‐Catalyzed LiF‐Rich Interface for Silicon Anodes
Modulating the decomposition of F‐containing species in the electrolyte to form LiF‐rich SEI has been proven to be an effective strategy for interface optimization. Herein, through nickel‐catalyzed pyrolysis of carbon precursors on silicon, graphene‐like carbon was formed to construct three‐dimensional conductive networks.

Harnessing Thin‐Film Solid‐State Electrolytes: Enabling Breakthroughs in All‐Solid‐State Batteries
Schematic illustration highlighting the advantages of transitioning from traditional thick solid‐state electrolytes (SSEs) to thin‐film SSEs. Thinning the electrolyte enables higher ionic conductivity, reduced interfacial polarization, improved flexibility, compact electrode contact, and enhanced energy density, offering a promising pathway toward high‐

Thermo‐Kinetic Design of Magnesiothermic Reduction for Morphology‐Retaining Porous Si@C Anodes
Balancing Mg‐vapor supply and surface consumption during magnesiothermic reduction suppresses particle aggregation and preserves monodisperse morphology in porous Si@C spheres. The resulting architecture improves transport uniformity and reduces degradation within the electrode, leading to more stable high‐capacity cycling than aggregated counterparts ...

Dealloying by peritectic melting
Peritectic melting of Ti--Ag has been shown experimentally to form bicontinuous structures, but the mechanism remains unclear. Here we use phase-field simulations to show that these structures arise from a morphological instability of liquid film migration in three dimensions: a Ti-rich solid growing through an Ag-rich liquid film develops a branched ...

Silver‐Modulated Copper Dynamics Under Pulsed Tandem Electrochemical CO2 Reduction
Under pulsed CO2 reduction, Ag does more than provide CO for tandem catalysis. It redirects how Cu dissolves, redeposits, and remains catalytically relevant, generating an Ag‐rich yet Cu‐active working state. Correlative surface and solution analysis reveal that tandem performance emerges from dynamic material redistribution rather than from a static ...
