Doc, Just Cut My Ears Off—A Case Report of Actinomyces in Bilateral Chronic Auricular Chondritis
The Laryngoscope, EarlyView.Ear piercings can lead to infectious complications, commonly involving Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This is the first documented case of bilateral chronic auricular chondritis caused by Actinomyces odontolyticus following cartilage piercings.
