The Cauchy problem for the homogeneous time-dependent Oseen system in $ \mathbb {R}^3 $: spatial decay of the velocity

open access: yes, 2013
summary:We consider the homogeneous time-dependent Oseen system in the whole space $ \mathbb {R}^3 $. The initial data is assumed to behave as $O(|x|^{-1- \epsilon })$, and its gradient as $O(|x|^{-3/2- \epsilon })$, when $|x|$ tends to infinity, where $\

Triple‐Mode Ferroelectric Thin‐Film Transistor for Hybrid Electrical–Optical Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A triple‐mode ferroelectric thin‐film transistor is developed by integrating Si3N4/HZO/IGZO layers to realize three independent memory modes: electric long‐term, electric short‐term, and optical short‐term. This single‐device architecture functions as both a reservoir and readout layer, achieving 92.43% MNIST accuracy. It offers a fully hardware‐based,

Dynamics for wave equations connected in parallel with nonlinear localized damping

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
This study investigates the properties of solutions about one-dimensional wave equations connected in parallel under the effect of two nonlinear localized frictional damping mechanisms.

The Second Critical Exponent for a Time-Fractional Reaction-Diffusion Equation

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem of a time-fractional nonlinear diffusion equation. According to Kaplan’s first eigenvalue method, we first prove the blow-up of the solutions in finite time under some sufficient conditions.

Self‐Adaptive Non‐Flammable Wallpaper With Layered Bead‐Network Structure for Light Path Modulation Enabling on‐Demand Building Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A layered bead‐network wallpaper is designed to modulate the light propagation path, overcoming the color residue limitations of thermochromic components for efficient automatic switching between radiative cooling and solar heating modes. The layered bead‐network wallpaper provides passive, all‐season thermal regulation while offering self‐cleaning and

Decay of coefficients and approximation rates in Gabor Gaussian frames

open access: yes, 2023
The aim of this note is to present a self-contained proof of the fact that a function can be approximated using a linear combination of Gaussian coherent states, with a number of terms controlled in terms of the smoothness and of the decay at infinity of

Energy decay for solutions to semilinear systems of elastic waves in exterior domains

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2006
We consider the dynamical system of elasticity in the exterior of a bounded open domain in 3-D with smooth boundary. We prove that under the effect of "weak" dissipation, the total energy decays at a uniform rate as $t o +infty$, provided the ...

Dielectric‐Confinement‐Induced in‐Plane Photoelectric Anisotropy in Isotropic Quasi‐1D γ‐GaS Nanoribbon

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigate the geometry‐governed optoelectronic anisotropy arising from dielectric confinement in quasi‐1D γ‐GaS nanoribbons with intrinsically isotropic atomic structures. Dielectric mismatch between the nanoribbon and its surroundings leads to a general polarization‐dependent photoresponse during near‐field scattering.

SuFEx‐Enabled Reprogramming of Flavonoids for Selective α‐Glucosidase Covalent Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Selective inhibition of intestinal α‐glucosidase remains limited by poor enzyme specificity and off‐target metabolic effects. Here, SuFEx click chemistry is used to reprogram natural flavonoids into covalent inhibitors with enhanced α‐glucosidase selectivity and controlled reactivity. This strategy enables effective regulation of carbohydrate digestion

Superradiant bound states of charged scalars around Melvin-Kerr black holes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We investigate superradiant bound states of a charged, massive scalar in the Melvin-Kerr spacetime, a rotating black hole immersed in an external magnetic field, working in the weak-field regime bM≪1.
