This report investigates the potential use and applicability of small scale, renewable energy sources (namely wind, hydro and solar power) in remote communities (specifically in India, Nepal, the USA and the South Atlantic). The report finds that hydro, wind and solar power can all be used to generate small scale off-grid energy.
