Mitigation of Jamming Attacks via Deception

2020 IEEE 31st Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2020
This paper considers the problem of mitigating jamming attacks by aiming to deceive the jammer. Specifically, in the presence of a jammer, to defend a transmitter-receiver pair sending (real) information, the paper proposes the novel technique of sending fake information over a second transmitter-receiver pair in order to deceive the jammer into ...

SAR Seeker Deception Jamming and Anti-jamming Measures

2019 6th Asia-Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar (APSAR), 2019
Considering repeater jamming for anti-ship SAR seeker, this paper proposes a mathematical model of repeater jamming for SAR. The influence of parameter estimation accuracy on the effectiveness of repeater jamming is analyzed. In the end, several anti-jamming measures of SAR seeker are summarized in anti-ship scenario.

A Partitioned Deceptive Jamming Method Against TOPSAR

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2020
A deceptive jamming method against terrain observation by progressive scans synthetic aperture radar (TOPSAR) that considers the effect of the changing relative position between a jammer and a TOPSAR platform is presented. The method can generate flexible false targets with varying Doppler centroids.

SAR deceptive jamming signal simulation

2007 1st Asian and Pacific Conference on Synthetic Aperture Radar, 2007
Based on SAR jamming geometry model and radar waveform, the signal model on SAR deceptive jamming is presented, and the simulation method which is feasible in project is verified. The jamming signal is produced to protect single point or multi-points target, and is validated by SAR imaging algorithm.

FAST DECEPTIVE JAMMING AGAINST TOPSAR

IGARSS 2018 - 2018 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2018
Terrain observation by progressive scans synthetic aperture radar (TOPSAR) is a novel two dimensional imaging mode with wide swath coverage. However, it will cause problems when our regions of interest are being detected by hostile TOPSAR. To prevent this threaten from TOPSAR, this paper presents a corresponding deceptive jamming method by taken the ...

Antirange-Deception Jamming From Multijammer for Multistatic SAR

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2022
Multistatic SAR is able to observe targets from different angles simultaneously, which enhances the information acquiring capability. However, multistatic SAR can still be affected by electromagnetic jamming, resulting in the misinterpretation of multistatic SAR images.

A Blanket Deception Jamming Rejection Approach Based on Jamming Sample Recognition

2007 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2007
Blanket deception jamming is characteristic of both noise jamming and deception jamming, which cause some traditional anti-jamming measures invalid such as sidelobe canceling and sidelobe blanking and so on. In this work, an approach of time-space cascade adaptive sidelobe canceling based on jamming sample recognition is presented. Even when the number

Deception jamming modeling in radar sensor networks

MILCOM 2008 - 2008 IEEE Military Communications Conference, 2008
In this paper we create a modeling scenario which includes an airborne imaging radar platform, receiving platform and an electronic countermeasure (ECM) platform whose goal is to introduce false target images. We also assume a high-resolution stripmap SAR model operating with several common types of UWB signals, as well as the newly proposed OFDM radar

Micro-Doppler Deception Jamming for Tracked Vehicles

IGARSS 2018 - 2018 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2018
As tracked vehicles play significant roles in a battlefield, effective jamming measures is necessary to protect them from being perceived by hostile radar. Moving tracked vehicles exhibit strong Doppler and micro-Doppler signatures. Therefore, the jamming signal should include micro-Doppler modulation generated by metallic caterpillars for successful ...

Research on deception jamming for countering ISAR

IET Conference Publications, 2009
This paper establishes a mathematical model of deception jamming for countering inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR). Based on this model, we analysis the condition in which successful deception jamming will be realized when using max correlation and Doppler centroid tracking (DCT) for motion compensation. Simulation results validated the analysis. (
