Caution Ahead: Numerical Reasoning and Look‐Ahead Bias in AI Models

open access: yesJournal of Accounting Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Recent work within accounting and finance has highlighted that modern AI systems exhibit superhuman performance on a variety of foundational activities within these fields. Habitat Features, Coyotes, and Humans Drive Diel Activity Variation Among Sympatric Mammals

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
We found that multiple mammal species show considerable variation in diel activity in response to several factors, with biotic variables (habitat features and the presence of coyotes Canis latrans) having the strongest overall effects. Our results have important implications for trophic dynamics. Future studies will need to account for these underlying
