Anticonvulsant activity of Mimosa pudica decoction
Fitoterapia, 2004The decoction of Mimosa pudica leaves given intraperitoneally at dose of 1000-4000 mg/kg protected mice against pentylentetrazol and strychnine-induced seizures. M. pudica had no effect against picrotoxin-induced seizures It also antagonized N-methyl-D-aspartate- induced turning behavior.

[Comparison of new convenient traditional Chinese medicine-decoction with traditional decoction].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 1994Through determining the rate and speed of extracting and the contents of effective constituents, an experimental comparison was made of the new TCM-decoction with the traditional decoction. The result showed that the new one was better than the traditional one.
