Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics Unveil Key Regulators Governing Cell Differentiation for Schistosoma japonicum Sexual Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using single‐cell and spatial transcriptomics, we identified key regulators that govern cell differentiation involved in parasite development and egg laying in Schistosoma japonicum. This comprehensive study establishes a foundational resource for understanding schistosome biology, deciphers the regulatory programs underlying cell differentiation and ...

LDPC Code Design for Half-Duplex Decode-and-Forward Relaying

open access: yes, 2006
Conference PaperWe propose LDPC code designs for the half-duplex relay channel. Our designs mimic the information theoretic random coding scheme for decode-and-forward relaying.

Energy Efficiency Contours for Amplify-and-Forward and Decode-and-Forward Cooperative Protocols

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper we compare the energy efficiency of different cooperative schemes by means of energy efficiency contours. We consider a three-nodes cooperative scenario, employing either the amplify-and-forward (AF) or the decode-and-forward (DF) protocol.

Molecular and Cellular Hallmarks of Age‐Related Vestibular Hair Cell Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study utilizes single‐cell RNA‐seq transcriptomes, advanced imaging, and electrophysiology to examine universal and cell‐type‐specific aging signatures of vestibular hair cells. The study shows that impaired hair bundle function is a key driver of age‐related vestibular dysfunction.

PRMT5‐Dependent Stabilization of VPS34 Orchestrates Copper Trafficking to Shield Cancer Cells from Cuproptosis and Radiotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Radioresistance arises partly from tumor cells evading cuproptosis via unknown defenses. This study reveals that the PRMT5‐VPS34 axis acts as a radiation‐activated anticuproptotic mechanism: PRMT5 methylates VPS34 at Arg174, recruiting USP10 to remove K48‐linked ubiquitination and prevent degradation.

Deep Learning Network‐Tailored Microenvironment Matching of 4D Bioprinting Bioactive Scaffolds for Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A DLN dataset was built to analyze MABS composition versus in vitro/in vivo osteogenesis and angiogenesis. An MLP neural network, taking BG morphological parameters as input, extracts bioactive features from these datasets. A rabbit tibial defect model then validates 4D‐printed MABS for adaptability and bone regeneration in critical defects.

Optimal Duplex Selection for Decode and Forward Relay Systems with Power Allocation

open access: yes, 2016
In decode and forward relay systems, choosing the duplex mode is an important factor to the performance. To satisfy the performance requirement, self-interference must be mitigated for the full-duplex relay (FDR), and the resource efficiency must be ...

Precoder design for multi-antenna partial decode-and-forward (PDF) cooperative systems with statistical CSIT and MMSE-SIC receivers

open access: yes, 2012
Cooperative communication is an important technology in next generation wireless networks. Aside from conventional amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) protocols, the partial decode-and-forward (PDF) protocol is an alternative relaying ...
