Outage Analysis for Coherent Decode-Forward Relaying Over Rayleigh Fading Channels [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Communications, 2015
We analyze the outage performance of coherent partial decode-forward (pDF) relaying over Rayleigh fading channels in both half- and full-duplex transmissions. In coherent DF relaying, the relay either partially or fully decodes the source message, then coherently forwards the decoded message with the source to the destination.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF COOPERATION SCHEMES IN EAVESDROPPER ASSISTED RELAY CHANNEL [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Communication Technology, 2014
The prominence of the wireless communication has been urging the monotonically increasing demand of security and privacy. In wireless systems, the notion of perfect secrecy of information with respect to illegitimate nodes can be ensured via physical ...

Underwater Decode-Interleave-Forward Cooperative Strategy for Underwater Acoustic Communication

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
To overcome the problem caused by the large propagation delays of underwater acoustic channel, an asynchronous underwater decode-interleave-forward (UDIF) cooperative strategy is considered for the underwater acoustic cooperative communication system ...

Photocatalytic Versus Stoichiometric Hydrogen Generation Using Mesoporous Silicon Catalysts: The Complex Role of Sacrificial Reagents

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study highlights the importance of accounting for stoichiometric hydrogen produced when utilizing Si photocatalysts. The stoichiometric contribution is sacrificial reagent dependent and decreases with increasing sterics around the catalyst surface.

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.

Large system design and analysis of protocols for decode-forward relay networks

open access: yes2008 6th International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc, and Wireless Networks and Workshops, 2008
In this work we consider a relay assisted CDMA network with a large number of sources and half duplex relays and a unique destination. We propose two relaying protocols called direct relaying (DR) and full relaying (FR). By dividing the relays in groups and adopting different forwarding delays for each group both protocols introduce diversity which ...

Power allocation strategies for dual-hop relay protocols with best relay selection under constraint of intercept probability

open access: yesICT Express, 2019
In this letter, we propose two power allocation strategies, named Optimal Power Allocation (OPA) and Equal Intercept Probability (EIP), for dual-hop cooperative decode-and-forward (DF) relaying networks under constraint of intercept probability (IP ...

The Three-User Finite-Field Multi-Way Relay Channel with Correlated Sources

open access: yes, 2013
This paper studies the three-user finite-field multi-way relay channel, where the users exchange messages via a relay. The messages are arbitrarily correlated, and the finite-field channel is linear and is subject to additive noise of arbitrary ...
