Activation of amino acids by aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases can be followed by a modified ATP/PPi exchange assay using radiolabelled γ‐[32P]ATP. The reaction is quenched at certain time points, followed by separation of the product ([32P]PPi) from the substrate (γ‐[32P]ATP) by thin‐layer chromatography (TLC).

The tumor microenvironment is a dynamic, multifaceted complex system of interdependent cellular, biochemical, and biophysical components. Three‐dimensional in vitro models of the tumor microenvironment enable a better understanding of these interactions and their impact on cancer progression and therapeutic resistance.

Comparative study of adenosine 3′‐pyrophosphokinase domains of MuF polymorphic toxins
With the ultimate goal of understanding the association of toxin‐immunity modules to temperate phages, we characterized toxins from three prophages and examined cross‐protection from immunity proteins. The toxins exhibit adenosine 3′‐pyrophosphokinase activity and are toxic in Escherichia coli.

XJ-BP: Express Journey Belief Propagation Decoding for Polar Codes [PDF]
This paper presents a novel propagation (BP) based decoding algorithm for polar codes. The proposed algorithm facilitates belief propagation by utilizing the specific constituent codes that exist in the factor graph, which results in an express journey (XJ) for belief information to propagate in each decoding iteration.

The impact of frailty syndrome on skeletal muscle histology: preventive effects of exercise
Frailty syndrome exacerbates skeletal muscle degeneration via increased ECM deposition and myofiber loss. This study, using a murine model, demonstrates that endurance exercise attenuates these histopathological alterations, preserving muscle integrity. Findings support exercise as a viable strategy to counteract frailty‐induced musculoskeletal decline

METHODS FOR IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF DECODING STREAMING DATA BASED ON THE REED – SOLOMON CODE
Background. Decoding information using noise-tolerant Reed–Solomon codes is a very resource-intensive task in part of calculation imlpementation. This problem is especially relevant when video streams or telemetry decoding on the fly, in a time mode ...

A Gated Hypernet Decoder for Polar Codes [PDF]
Hypernetworks were recently shown to improve the performance of message passing algorithms for decoding error correcting codes. In this work, we demonstrate how hypernetworks can be applied to decode polar codes by employing a new formalization of the polar belief propagation decoding scheme. We demonstrate that our method improves the previous results
