Finite Alphabet Fast List Decoders for Polar Codes [PDF]
The so-called fast polar decoding schedules are meant to improve the decoding speed of the sequential-natured successive cancellation list decoders. The decoding speedup is achieved by replacing various parts of the serial decoding process with efficient special-purpose decoder nodes.

Abstract Current radiotherapy practices rely on manual contouring of CT scans, which is time‐consuming, prone to variability, and requires highly trained experts. There is a need for more efficient and consistent contouring methods. This study evaluated the performance of the Varian Ethos AI auto‐contouring tool to assess its potential integration into

Decoding Soil Color: Origins, Influences, and Methods of Analysis
Soil color serves as a critical indicator of its properties and conditions. It is shaped by a complex interplay of mineral and organic matter content, moisture levels, and other environmental variables.

Joint Successive Cancellation Decoding of Polar Codes over Intersymbol Interference Channels [PDF]
Polar codes are a class of capacity-achieving codes for the binary-input discrete memoryless channels (B-DMCs). However, when applied in channels with intersymbol interference (ISI), the codes may perform poorly with BCJR equalization and conventional decoding methods. To deal with the ISI problem, in this paper a new joint successive cancellation (SC)

ABSTRACT Dietary manipulations like ketogenic diets are established interventions for recalcitrant epilepsy. However, it remains unknown whether specific macronutrient exposure through dietary environments could possibly extend to primary preventive qualities, associated with changes in epilepsy disease burden (prevalence and incidence).

Early Language Impairment as an Integral Part of the Cognitive Phenotype in Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Huntington's disease (HD) speech/language disorders have typically been attributed to motor and executive impairment due to striatal dysfunction. In‐depth study of linguistic skills and the role of extrastriatal structures in HD is scarce.

Getting the public involved in Quantum Error Correction
The Decodoku project seeks to let users get hands-on with cutting-edge quantum research through a set of simple puzzle games. The design of these games is explicitly based on the problem of decoding qudit variants of surface codes.
