Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

Correction of single error bursts beyond the code correction capability using information sets

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики
The most important method of ensuring data integrity is correcting errors that occur during information storage, processing or transmission. The error-correcting coding methods are used to correct errors.

Transducer Materials Mediated Deep Brain Stimulation in Neurological Disorders

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review discusses advanced transducer materials for improving deep brain stimulation (DBS) in neurological disorders. These materials respond to light, ultrasound, or magnetic fields, enabling precise, less invasive neuromodulation. Their stimulus‐responsive properties enhance neural control and adaptive therapy, paving the way for next‐generation ...

Class of near-perfect coded apertures [PDF]

open access: yes
Coded aperture imaging of gamma ray sources has long promised an improvement in the sensitivity of various detector systems. The promise has remained largely unfulfilled, however, for either one of two reasons.

Wavelength‐Dependent Differential Amplification of Raman Scattering by Chiral Gold Nanorods for Multiplexed Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The SERS spectra of reporter molecules adsorbed on chiral gold nanorods depends on the handedness of circularly polarized light (CPL‐SERS). The bisignate plasmonic CD spectra of chiral nanorods provides wavelength‐dependent CPL‐SERS. Selective discrimination of chiral nanorod handedness and different Raman reporters allow highly sensitive codification ...
