Complications in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery: A TriNetX Network Analysis
Abstract Background The potential complications of endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) remain a critical surgical consideration. This study aims to examine complication rates and identify trends in ESS‐related complications. Methods The TriNetX network was queried for patients undergoing ESS between 2005 and 2024.

I.S.Mu.L.T - Rotator cuff tears guidelines [PDF]
Despite the high level achieved in the field of shoulder surgery, a global consensus on rotator cuff tears management is lacking. This work is divided into two main sessions: in the first, we set questions about hot topics involved in the rotator cuff ...

Computational Discovery of a Novel Yttrium Silicide as an Ambient Pressure Superconductor
We predict a tetragonal YSi₆ whose dumbbell‐silicon network strengthens electron‐phonon coupling, yielding a record 8.4 K critical temperature for binary yttrium silicides. The finding broadens silicide superconductivity design space and spotlights YSi₆ as a candidate material for quantum‐circuit and qubit technologies.

Mechanochromic Organic Materials: Molecular Mechanisms and Multidimensional Applications
Mechanochromic (MC) organic materials change color in response to mechanical force. This review elucidates the molecular mechanisms (e.g., aggregation‐induced emission, AIE) and explores their multidimensional applications in sensors, anti‐counterfeiting, biomedical devices, and structural health monitoring, providing a roadmap for future smart ...

Subacromial decompression surgery for rotator cuff disease.
BACKGROUND Surgery for rotator cuff disease is usually used after non-operative interventions have failed, although our Cochrane Review, first published in 2007, found that there was uncertain clinical benefit following subacromial decompression surgery.

Advances in second‐generation biofuel production from rice straw and barley straw
Abstract This review critically examines recent advances in the use of rice straw and barley straw as lignocellulosic feedstocks for second‐generation biofuel production. A comprehensive analysis of their chemical composition, including cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, and ash content, reveals how these intrinsic properties affect the efficiency of ...
