Deconstruction in landscape architecture

open access: yes, 2009
The possibilities for a rigorous deconstruction in landscape architecture are explored, based largely upon the theoretical work of Jacques Derrida, and the architectural work of Bernard Tschumi.

Transient Charging Dynamics in Stacked Ga2O3/ZnO Photovoltaic Units Governing Wavelength‐Selective Polarity Switching

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This work reveals a “Photovoltaic‐Capacitance” coupling mechanism in stacked Ga2O3/ZnO devices, defining the ZnO/graphene interface as a novel Photovoltaic Dynamic‐Capacitor (PDC). The wavelength‐selective bipolar response enables a physical layer secure communication protocol based on ternary optical logic (“1,” “0,” “−1”).

Advances in Design Strategy and Mechanism Insights for Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Reaction: Multilevel Site Engineering and Structure–Activity Relationship

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This review is about material design based on engineering multilevel sites from theoretical calculation and synthetic routes to mechanism, structure–activity relationship, challenges and perspectives for boosting hydrogen production in alkaline electrolyte. Electrolytic water splitting is a clean, carbon‐free method for producing green hydrogen and has

Synergistic Molecular Modulation of ππ Stacking for High‐Performance Pitch‐Derived Hard Carbon Anodes

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A synergistic molecular strategy is demonstrated to disrupt intrinsic ππ stacking in pitch, boosting 6‐fold sulfonation, yielding a hard carbon with 0.371 nm interlayer spacing and maximized closed pores, and achieving a high reversible capacity, remarkable rate capability (205.6 mAh g−1 at 2 A g−1) and cyclic stability.

The Origins of Deconstruction

open access: yes, 2010
What is the origin of deconstruction? What is the origin for deconstruction? This book attempts to answer these questions by drawing together a range of world-class scholars to investigate the historical, institutional and philosophical origins of ...

A Novel Multilevel Conceptual Framework for Flood Risk Governance

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Globally, flood risk is increasing as climate change progresses. Contemporary flood risk management practice often utilises hydrodynamic modelling (for hazard risk assessments), social vulnerability assessments, and risk communications in silo, which fragments evidence‐based decision‐making for effective flood risk management. We hence develop

The Dynamics of the Policy Mix and Sectoral Gaps in South Korea's Decarbonization Transition

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While a coherent policy mix is a fundamental prerequisite for successful energy transitions, existing frameworks predominantly rely on static evaluations. This horizontal approach fails to capture the deep temporal dynamics and physical inertia inherent in socio‐technical regime shifts.

"Practical Deconstruction"

open access: yes, 2017
one of the stakes suggested by the juxtaposition of queer theory anddeconstruction is that of genealogy and the family. are queer theoryand deconstruction related? are they close relatives, brother andsister perhaps or are they involved in some sort of murderousoedipal clinch?
