CoRRDeconvolution with a box (square wave) is a key operation for super-resolution with pixel-shift cameras. In general convolution with a box is not invertible. However, we can obtain perfect reconstructions of sparse signals using convex optimization. We give a direct proof that improves on the reconstruction bound that follows from previous results.

Advanced Materials, EarlyView.Gold‐stabilized copper suppresses hydroxide‐driven deactivation during anodic hydrogen evolution from furfural. Pairing this low‐potential anode with CO‐to‐ethylene electroreduction enables sub‐1 V operation at 400 mA cm−2, high single‐pass CO conversion, and co‐production of ethylene, furoic acid, and a separate hydrogen stream.

Log-Density Deconvolution by Wavelet Thresholding [PDF]
This paper proposes a new wavelet-based method for deconvolving a density. The estimator combines the ideas of nonlinear wavelet thresholding with periodised Meyer wavelets and estimation by information projection.

Advanced Materials, EarlyView.Diketopyrrolopyrrole cation incorporated layered perovskites exhibiting extended absorption profiles and enhanced charge carrier mobility with type‐II energy alignment. The improved photoconversion efficiency demonstrates the critical role of incorporating organic semiconductors in optimizing layered perovskite performance.
