On equalization for OFDM-dedicated short range communication (DSRC) modem
2000 IEEE International Conference on Personal Wireless Communications. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8488), 2002Dedicated short range communication (DSRC) applications need flexible and robust air interface technology to support high data rate services. OFDM is a good candidate for DSRC applications in harsh mobile environments, with time and frequency-selective channels.

Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) Standards in the United States
Proceedings of the IEEE, 2011Wireless vehicular communication has the potential to enable a host of new applications, the most important of which are a class of safety applications that can prevent collisions and save thousands of lives. The automotive industry is working to develop the dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) technology, for use in vehicle-to-vehicle and ...

Low density parity check codes for dedicated short range communication (DSRC) systems
2009 IEEE Pacific Rim Conference on Communications, Computers and Signal Processing, 2009In this paper, we consider the performance of a dedicated short range communication (DSRC) system for intervehicle communications (IVC). The DSRC standard employs convolutional codes for forward error correction (FEC). The performance of the DSRC system is evaluated in three different channels with convolutional codes and regular LDPC codes.

DSRC and C-V2X are two fundamentally different communication technologies for connected and automated vehicles (CAVs). This is a rare study aimed at conducting comparative testing between C-V2X and DSRC to help CAV deployer/researchers identify which communication technology is most suitable for their needs.
