Complement Factor H‐Based Therapeutics: A Comprehensive Overview

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 56, Issue 7, July 2026.

Bifidobacterium breve B2798 Attenuates Diet‐Induced Obesity Through Gut‐Adipose Crosstalk

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Obesity is driven by complex interactions between diet, gut microbiota, and host metabolism. Here, we investigate whether the probiotic Bifidobacterium breve B2798 mitigates high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced metabolic dysfunction in C57BL/6J mice. Male mice received HFD for 12 weeks, followed by 12 weeks of B. breve B2798 or saline.

Ultrasonography Sliding Sign as a Predictor for Intraabdominal Adhesions in Repeated Cesarean Deliveries: Retrospective Cross Sectional Study

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, Volume 54, Issue 6, Page 1407-1413, July/August 2026.
This retrospective cohort study included 350 individuals who underwent cesarean section. Data from 198 participants who met the inclusion criteria were analyzed. The region below ROC curves for the sliding sign was 0.717 (95% CI: 0.645–0.789). The sensitivity was 58.9%, specificity was 84.6%, positive predictive value (PPV) was 81.7%, negative ...

Extracellular Vesicles From Human Fallopian Tubes Enhance IVF Embryo Development and Contain Functional Proteins Including YWHAZ

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) in the mammalian oviduct constitute a key maternal regulatory system that maintains redox balance during early embryogenesis, yet their molecular cargo and functional relevance in human embryos remain poorly defined.
