Unexpected Polymerization‐Induced Luminescence in Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES)‐Based Polymer
Advanced Optical Materials, 2023AbstractHere, a polymerizable type‐IV deep eutectic solvent (DES) is synthesized via the coordination reaction between acrylamide and SbCl3, and for the first time it is demonstrated that the resultant type‐IV DES‐based polymers can exhibit luminescence after polymerization due to the efficient Sb‐ligand and ligand–ligand charge transfer.

Stabilising Nicotinamide Cofactors in Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES)
3rd International Meeting on Deep Eutectic Systems : book of abstracts, 2023Cofactors are an indispensable part of oxidoreductase-catalyzed reactions, with nicotinamide cofactors NAD+ and NADH being most frequently present. Because they are known for their labile nature and short-term stability, new and fresh stock solutions need to be prepared prior to the reaction, especially when used in biocatalysis.
