Abstract Deep eutectic solvents (such as the combination of either urea or glycerol with choline chloride) are effective solvents/organocatalysts for Pictet–Spengler condensations to form carbolines. This study unveils a novel eco-friendly synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimidines using DES. These compounds exhibit promising antiproliferative activity against HepG2 and MCF7 cell lines, as evidenced by IC50 assays. Docking studies shed light on their potential as therapeutic agents.

Niet alleen verandert papier maken revolutionair (veel minder energie nodig), ook worden we een interessante partner voor andere sectoren, omdat we veel meer uit een boom halen dan voorheen.
