Balloon-Assisted Thrombin Injection of a Profunda Femoral Pseudoaneurysm Using Radial Access
The profunda femoral artery is an uncommon location for a pseudoaneurysm and is technically challenging to resolve with traditional techniques, such as ultrasound-guided compression or thrombin injection, owing to its deep anatomical location.

Bacteroides fragilis is associated with type 2 diabetes (T2D) arterial calcification and can be activated by macrophage‐derived extracellular vesicles (EVs). BF takes up EVs via receptor‐mediated endocytosis, and activation is induced by EV‐derived Mef2d, thereby inhibiting ArsR family transcriptional regulator transcription.

This case illustrates sequential intracranial occlusions in large‐vessel vasculitis compatible with Takayasu arteritis preserving perfusion through robust collateral pathways. Transcranial color‐coded duplex sonography identified characteristic blunted flow patterns and focal turbulence, underscoring its value in detecting hemodynamic compromise beyond
