Neutron spin structure from polarized deuteron DIS with proton tagging
Polarized electron-deuteron deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) with detection of the spectator proton (“tagged DIS”) enables measurements of neutron spin structure with maximal control of nuclear effects.

Authors present a novel approach combining multispectral optoacoustic tomography and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy for noninvasive assessment of body composition, including water, lipid, and collagen in skin and muscles. Its high molecular and spatial specificity offers improved diagnostic potential for conditions like obesity and sarcopenia ...

Unveiling the Influence of Formation Voltage on Li‐Rich Layered Oxide Cathode
This work reveals the trade‐off between “high capacity/low cycling” of LRLO under high‐voltage formation (HVF). The HVF protocol promotes the charge transfer of anions/cations which is attributed to the increased O5 (OLiyTM1) configuration due to the in‐plane transition metal (TM) migration, thereby resulting in high capacity.

Revealing a Pathway for Low‐Temperature Recrystallization in Germanium
This study reports the discovery that energy transferred to electrons and atoms by highly ionizing ions results in a disorder‐order (amorphous‐crystalline) phase transformation in noncrystalline (amorphous) Ge. This discovery unlocks low‐temperature recrystallization pathways in Ge, offering a nonthermal strategy for fabricating Ge‐based devices that ...

Van der Waals Template‐Assisted Growth of Two‐dimensional Sb2S3
Van der Waals (vdW) template‐assisted growth of atomically thin two‐dimensional (2D) Sb2S3 on monolayer MoS2 single crystals is demonstrated, overcoming its thermodynamically preferred one‐dimensional (1D) growth. The resulting sub‐8 nm nanosheets show uniform coverage, atomically sharp interfaces, and enhanced broadband optoelectronic performance as ...
