Stoma‐Shell Nanoarchitecture for Enhanced Plasma Confinement Catalysis in Synthesis of Ethanol from CO2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐energy electron impact in plasma catalysis often causes excessive dissociation of active intermediates, limiting C2+ product selectivity. To address this challenge, a bio‐inspired stoma‐shell nanoarchitecture is designed to decouple electron impact from catalytic reaction zones.

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

Improving the description of dimuon production in neutrino-nucleus collisions using the SACOT-χ scheme

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Dimuon production in deeply inelastic scattering between neutrinos and nuclei plays an important role in constraining the strange-quark parton distribution functions (PDFs).

Magnetism and Nonlinear Charge Transport in NiFe2O4/γ‐Al2O3/SrTiO3 Heterostructure: Toward Spintronic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this report, we demonstrate that a crystalline phase of 52nm thick NiFe2O4 can be grown by RF sputtering on top of γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 at a significantly low temperature (150 °C) without compromising the mobility and carrier density of the 2D electron gas at the γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 interface.

The two-mass contributions to the three-loop massive operator matrix elements $${\widetilde{A}}_{Qg}^{(3)}$$ and $${\Delta \widetilde{A}}_{Qg}^{(3)}$$

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We calculate the two-mass three-loop contributions to the unpolarized and polarized massive operator matrix elements $${\widetilde{A}}_{Qg}^{(3)}$$ and $${\Delta \widetilde{A}}_{Qg}^{(3)}$$ in x-space for a general mass ratio by using a semi-analytic ...

MagPiezo: A Magnetogenetic Platform for Remote Activation of Endogenous Piezo1 Channels in Endothelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering off a tensor-polarized spin-1 target

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering off a tensor-polarized spin-1 target, focusing on the production of an unpolarized hadron. The complete differential cross section is expressed in terms of 23 structure functions, which depend ...

Electrocatalytic Reduction of CO2 to Ethylene: Catalyst Design and Synchrotron‐Based Characterizations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review evaluates strategies for electrochemical CO2 reduction to ethylene, focusing on copper‐based catalyst design and microenvironment modulation to achieve industrial‐grade performance. By leveraging operando synchrotron‐based characterizations, we provide a multiscale understanding of dynamic structural transformations and key reaction ...

Momentum fraction and hard scale dependence of double parton scattering

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The effective cross section of double parton scattering in high-energy hadron collisions has been measured in proton-proton collisions, with significant variation among final-state observables, contrary to the idea of a universal value. Building upon our
