Harmonics blocking in hairpin filter using Defected Microstrip Structure
In this paper, it is demonstrated that the first and second spurious passbands suppression in microstrip hairpin filters can be achieved by simply patterning appropriate geometries of several Defected Microstrip Structure (DMS) in parallel coupled sections. By properly tuning DMS resonator dimensions, multiple transmission zeros can be generated in the

Modeling of Modified Split-Ring Type Defected Ground Structure and Its Application as Bandstop Filter [PDF]
The shape of a popular split-ring defected ground structure (DGS) is modified by selecting different width of the sides with respect to microstrip line. The frequency characteristics of proposed DGS unit show an attenuation zero close to the attenuation ...

Annular Ring Ultra Wideband Antenna Integrated With Metallic via Array for IoT Applications
An annular ring microstrip antenna (ARMSA) with metallic drilled holes and a defected ground structure is proposed for ultra-wideband applications. The annular ring microstrip patch antenna is excited by the microstrip line feed.
