CITRULLINEMIA WITH DEFECTIVE UREA PRODUCTION
Pediatrics, 1967The second case of citrullinemia is described in a 21-month-old female. In contrast to previous patients with urea cycle enzyme defects, the present child fails to produce normal amounts of urea. Physical growth has been adequate, except for microcephaly. Unfortunately, her psychomotor milestones are slow.

Quantitating Defective Ribosome Products
2005The fidelity of the protein production process is monitored by quality control machinery, which ensures that aberrant proteins are not deployed throughout the cell. A significant fraction (upwards of 30%) of proteins are degraded by proteasomes shortly after their synthesis, and we have termed such proteins defective ribosomal proteins (DRiPs).

Manufacturing Or Production Defects And Design Defects
2020Abstract There are generally few difficulties in applying the consumer expectation test of s 3(1) of the 1987 Act to manufacturing or production defects. Thus it can be said that: ‘persons generally are clearly entitled to expect that a product conform with the standard of safety common to the items of a same line of products marketed by

Abstract Where an injury is caused by a defective product there are three potential grounds for establishing a right to compensation. First, a defect will probably have been a breach of contract and the purchaser can claim against the seller for this breach.

Product defect prediction model
2011 6th IEEE International Symposium on Applied Computational Intelligence and Informatics (SACI), 2011The prediction of software reliability can determine the current reliability of a product, using statistical techniques based on the failures data, obtained during testing or system usability. Software reliability growth models attempt to predict the number of defect using a correlation between exponential function and defect data.

Homerun Baseball Products, Inc: Defective products
Journal of Accounting Education, 1998Abstract Homerun Baseball Products, Inc: Defective Products illustrates a realistic audit situation where multiple issues are faced by an auditor. Accounting, auditing, and ethical issues are integrated into one case. The problems are set in the context of a public accounting firm performing an audit of a good, but not always agreeable, client ...

Keyhole Defect Production in Tubular Bone
Journal of Forensic Sciences, 2000Abstract Fracture characteristics, reported primarily for the cranium, are valuable indicators of bullet direction. A bullet striking the vault tangentially produces an irregular opening, termed a “keyhole defect,” with the circular portion of the defect being the initial point of impact.

Production of Experimental Atrial Septal Defects
Vascular Surgery, 1976Atrial septal defects (ASDs) were successfully created by punch biopsy technique in 67 dogs. The technique is simple, effective and provides an ideal model for the study of ASDs, either for testing closure devices or physiological experiments. The position and size of the defects may be varied according to preference.

Thrombocytopenia Due to Defective Platelet Production
Clinics in Haematology, 1983An increasing number of kindreds with thrombocytopenia have been described in the past decade as platelet counts have been done regularly. These patients are delineated from ITP, recognizing that some patients with hereditary thrombocytopenia may benefit from splenectomy.

Prolactin Production by Luteal Phase Defect Endometrium
Obstetrical & Gynecological Survey, 1981The production of prolactin (PRL) by explants of late secretory endometrium obtained during normal cycles (n = 61) and that by similar explants obtained during luteal phase deficient (n = 17) cycles was compared. The amount of prolactin produced in vitro correlated with the degree of histologic decidualization in both normal and luteal phase defect ...
