A Triple‐Tunnel Suture‐Bridge Technique for Arthroscopic Fixation of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Tibial Avulsion Fractures

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper describes an arthroscopic technique for managing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tibial avulsion fractures. The procedure combines a 3‐tunnel anchoring construct with cortical button fixation in a crossed‐loop configuration. The method aims to enhance 3‐dimensional stability and provides improved fixation strength compared with ...

Double Transverse Mini‐Incision Repair for Proximal Achilles Tendon Tears

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Recent literature showing equivalent outcomes for surgical and nonoperative management of Achilles tendon ruptures emphasizes the importance of proper indications for surgical repair. Various techniques for tendon repair via reapproximation of the torn ends have been described, such as open, mini‐open, and minimally invasive, each with their ...

Effect of deficit irrigation on growth and yield of drip irrigated cabbage

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2015
A field experiment was conducted on cabbage crop (var. Indo-American Hybrid Ramakrishna) during the winter season of 2010-11 in loamy soil of Water Technology Centre, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of three levels of irrigation, i.e.

Shaping Energy Transitions: Sectoral Demand, Climate Risk Exposure, and Renewable Pathways in Sub‐Saharan Africa

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Energy is a fundamental driver of economic growth, shaping productivity, industrialization, and long‐term economic resilience. In sub‐Saharan Africa (SSA), where energy access remains uneven and infrastructure is underdeveloped, understanding sector‐specific energy demand is essential for designing sustainable energy strategies.

The Impact of Sustainability Labelling on Consumers' Evaluation and Choice of Food Products: A Systematic Literature Review

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The last five years of research on sustainability labelling, reported in 175 journal articles, documents its effectiveness in increasing consumer choices of more sustainable food products. Some sustainability labels come out as stronger than others and their impact varies across products, countries, and individual consumers, depending on label

Photothermal–Magnetocaloric Coupled Evaporators for Actively Adjustable Water Evaporation and Oil–Water Purification in Complex Environments

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A photothermal–magnetocaloric coupled aerogel evaporator is developed for actively adjustable water evaporation in complex environments. Magnetocaloric heating provides active energy compensation under low‐light conditions and disrupts interfacial hydrogen‐bond networks to promote evaporation.

Irrigation scheduling and regulated deficit irrigation in stone fruits

open access: yesProceedings of the 4th Workshop on Agri-Food Research. WiA
In recent years the interest for applying irrigation techniques aiming to reduce water consumption has increased, mainly in areas with scarce water resources. We studied the effect of different regulated deficit irrigation (RDI) strategies on peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch cv.

Unraveling the Interplay Between Collaborative Governance and Experimentation for Transformative Potential in Circular Water Systems: A Dutch Case Study

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Freshwater availability is a critical climate change challenge in coastal delta regions. This challenge requires a transformative change toward circular water management. While experimentation and collaborative governance are recognized as enablers of transformative change, their interaction remains complex and insufficiently understood ...

Vegetative Growth of Banana as influenced by Deficit Irrigation and Irrigation Interval.

open access: yesFundamental and Applied Agriculture, 2019
Water is a limited source with no known substitute. The decrease in precipitations leads to less and less soil water available to crops, hence, proper management of agricultural water is of utmost importance. This study assessed the effects of three irrigation levels (IL) and three irrigation intervals (II) on the vegetative growth of East Africa ...
