Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Definite orders with locally free cancellation
We enumerate all orders in definite quaternion algebras over number fields with the Hermite property; this includes all orders with the cancellation property for locally free modules.

An even order symmetric B tensor is positive definite [PDF]
It is easily checkable if a given tensor is a B tensor, or a B0 tensor or not. In this paper, we show that a symmetric B tensor can always be decomposed to the sum of a strictly diagonally dominated symmetric M tensor and several positive multiples of ...

A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

Formation Control of Multi‐Agent System with Local Interaction and Artificial Potential Field
This article proposes a local interaction‐based formation control method for Multi‐Agent system, integrating consensus and leader‐follower strategies with a stress response mechanism—artificial potential field to reduce communication overhead and enable obstacle avoidance. Experimental results on triangular, square, and hexagonal formations confirm its

Comparatives, Superlatives and Definiteness in Romance
Romance languages do not have superlative-dedicated morphemes (see most/-est in English) but instead express superlative meanings by using a comparative combined with a definite article.

Intrinsic data depth for Hermitian positive definite matrices
Nondegenerate covariance, correlation and spectral density matrices are necessarily symmetric or Hermitian and positive definite. The main contribution of this paper is the development of statistical data depths for collections of Hermitian positive ...

Settling definitions is often seen as a central tool for clarifying concepts, and answering ‘What is X?’ questions. Examples might be ‘What is knowledge?’, ‘What is a work of art?’ or ‘What is a dog?’. A common way of answering such questions is by formulating necessary and sufficient conditions for a thing to be of a certain sort.
