Central bankers are raising interest rates on the assumption that wage-push inflation may lead to stagflation. This is not the case. Although unemployment is low, the labour market is not ‘tight.’ On the contrary, we show that what matters for wage growth are the non-employment rate and the under-employment rate. Is China Exporting Deflation? [PDF]
In the past few years, observers increasingly have pointed to China as a source of downward pressure on global prices. An Implementation of Deflate in Coq [PDF]
The widely-used compression format "Deflate" is defined in RFC 1951 and is based on prefix-free codings and backreferences. There are unclear points about the way these codings are specified, and several sources for confusion in the standard. We tried to fix this problem by giving a rigorous mathematical specification, which we formalized in Coq.

Studying the Morphologic Maturation of Aeolian Sand Grains During Transportation Process of Wind Erosion (Case study: Khartouran Erg) [PDF]
Wind, in the duration of its erosional process, affects considerable changes in a grain's morphologyfrom its removal (detachment) step to sedimentation. In other word, a grain undergoes its gradualevolution during the transit process.

Chronicle of a Deflation Unforetold [PDF]
Suppose the nominal money supply could be cut literally overnight by, say, 20%. What would happen to prices, wages, output? The answer can be found in 1720s France, where just such an experiment was carried out, repeatedly. Prices adjusted instantaneously and fully on one market only, that for foreign exchange.

Estimation of Soil Material Transportation by Wind Based on in Situ Wind Tunnel Experiments
25% and 40% of territory of Hungary is moderate to highly vulnerable to deflation. However, precise estimates about the soil loss and related losses of organic matter and nutrients due to wind erosion are missing in most cases.
