Cross‐Ecosystem Biodiversity Action Is Systemically Overlooked
ABSTRACT The Kunming‐Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) stands as the world's foremost strategy for biodiversity protection. However, despite emphasizing ecosystem connectivity, the GBF remains largely organized around discrete ecosystem types, biomes, and political jurisdictions.

A protracted phenology: Post‐diapause larval development of a threatened butterfly
Larval survival during diapause was high; hibernaculum webs were mostly located near Succisa pratensis plants, which often retained vital leaves through winter. Post‐diapause developmental time varied strongly depending on exposure to different microclimates, being reduced by litter cover, solar radiation and a higher heat load index.

Hairy Roadblock: Stem Trichomes Impede Herbivore Movement in a Species and Instar‐Dependent Manner
ABSTRACT Plants have evolved to deploy a vast set of defence mechanisms against insect herbivores, including physical barriers like leaf trichomes with pre and post ingestive effects. Yet, the role of stem trichomes in plant‐herbivore interactions, particularly mobility dynamics, is poorly understood.
