Abstract In 1962 the Koyna dam was completed 220 km southeast of Mumbai (India). Since then, the area has experienced recurrent seismicity, including one of the largest human‐induced earthquakes so far (1967, Mw 6.3). An extensive deep drilling project was carried out to understand this seismicity.

Tectonic Tremor Explained by Successive Ruptures of Clustered Quartz‐Filled Shear Veins
Abstract A tectonic tremor is a successive seismic signal observed along plate boundaries in subduction zones. However, the source processes and mechanisms responsible for the tremor remain unclear. Quartz‐filled shear and extension veins are clustered in tens to hundreds of meters thick subduction shear zones exhumed from deep tremor source regions ...

Abstract Tropical Cyclone (TC) Oswald (2013) significantly impacted Australia with extensive rainfall and prolonged circulation over land, largely influenced by two mid‐latitude troughs. Unlike other documented studies, Oswald's interaction with the two troughs occurred in the mid‐troposphere, not the upper troposphere.

Rupture Process of the Mw7.0 December 5, 2024 Offshore Cape Mendocino Earthquake
Abstract The Mw7.0 December 5, 2024 Offshore Cape Mendocino earthquake ruptured a ∼60 ${\sim} 60$ km long portion of the east‐west trending Mendocino fault zone (MFZ). In order to clarify the rupture process, we assemble three‐component seismograms from regional seismic stations, horizontal coseismic displacement vectors derived from Global Navigation ...

Observed Meso‐Gamma Scale Variability of Air‐Sea Sensible Heat Flux in a Coastal Region
Abstract The meso‐gamma scale variability of air‐sea sensible heat flux HS $\text{HS}$ was investigated using synchronized flux observations from two tower‐based platforms within 10 km over coastal regions. Observations revealed statistically weak correlations between spatial HS $\text{HS}$ variability and both 10 m wind speed U10 ${U}_{10}$ and air ...
