STATES AND REPRESENTATIONS IN DEFORMATION QUANTIZATION [PDF]

open access: yesReviews in Mathematical Physics, 2005
In this review we discuss various aspects of representation theory in deformation quantization starting with a detailed introduction to the concepts of states as positive functionals and the GNS construction. Rieffel induction of representations as well as strong Morita equivalence, Dirac monopole and strong Picard Groupoid are also discussed.

KAUFFMAN STATE SUMS AND BRACKET DEFORMATION [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Knot Theory and Its Ramifications, 2007
We derive a formula expanding the bracket with respect to a natural deformation parameter. The expansion is in terms of a two-variable polynomial algebra of diagram resolutions generated by basic operations involving the Goldman bracket. A functorial characterization of this algebra is given. Differentiability properties of the star product underlying

Linking transitions between the highly deformed states and the yrast states of normal deformation in 133Nd

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1993
Abstract Transitions linking the highly deformed band to low deformation states have been unambiguously established in 133 Nd in the very first experiment performed with the GASP array. the highly deformed band becomes yrast at 29 2 + , where it mixes with the positive parity band built upon the [404] 7 2 Nilsson state.

Study of the deformation state during the pulling of the workpiece in a special die

open access: yesMetalurgija, 2021
The article presents the results of a study of the deformation state when pulling a metal workpiece in a special die, preventing unidirectional metal flow in the longitudinal direction. The study of the deformation state and the construction of fields of

Bound States in Weakly Deformed Strips and Layers [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Henri Poincaré, 2001
We consider Dirichlet Laplacians on straight strips in R^2 or layers in R^3 with a weak local deformation. First we generalize a result of Bulla et al. to the three-dimensional situation showing that weakly coupled bound states exist if the volume change induced by the deformation is positive; we also derive the leading order of the weak-coupling ...

Improvement of mechanical and operational steel characteristics by strengthening the surface [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The growing demands in the mining industry require steel products capable of withstanding heavy loads. To achieve enhanced mechanical, service, and operational properties in steel, common methods include adjusting carbon content, optimizing primary ...

Modeling of residual stress evolution of 7050 aluminium alloy component during heat treatment and cold forming

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2021
A thermal mechanical coupling numerical model of 7050 aluminium alloy was established using the Hansel-Spittel constitutive model. The stress state of the samples during quenching and cold deformation was analyzed using the finite element simulation ...

BPS states in the duality web of the Omega deformation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2013
Abstract In this note, we study different limits of an Ω-deformed (2, 0) six-dimensional gauge theory realized in an M-theory fluxtrap background. Via a chain of dualities, we connect the Ω-deformed sym to a new four-dimensional gauge theory which we refer to as the reciprocal gauge theory.
