Functional morphology and biomechanics of the locomotor apparatus in the large Late Triassic carnivore Postosuchus kirkpatricki (Archosauria: Rauisuchidae)

open access: yesJournal of Anatomy, EarlyView.
A three‐dimensional model is used to analyze the locomotor biomechanics of the large Late Triassic archosaurian reptile Postosuchus kirkpatricki. The study finds that it is more uncertain than previously concluded whether it was quadrupedal or bipedal, and plantigrade or digitigrade, but it clearly had locomotor specializations including large hindlimb

Effect of metal framework design on the fracture resistance of implant‐supported metal–ceramic crowns fabricated by selective laser melting

open access: yesJournal of Prosthodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose To evaluate the fracture resistance of implant‐supported metal–ceramic crowns fabricated using selective laser melting (SLM), according to the metal support height around the screw access hole (SAH) and the substructure design. Materials and Methods Metal–ceramic crowns and rectangular bilayer specimens were fabricated using SLM in two
