Deformation Quantization of Polynomial Poisson Algebras [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1998
This paper discusses the notion of a deformation quantization for an arbitrary polynomial Poisson algebra A. We examine the Hochschild cohomology group H^3(A) and find that if a deformation of A exists it can be given by bidifferential operators.

Activation of SIRT1 Reduces Renal Tubular Epithelial Cells Fibrosis in Hypoxia Through SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐Autophagy Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
Hypoxia promotes the epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) of renal tubular epithelial cells via the SIRT1‐FoxO1‐FoxO3‐autophagy pathway, thereby resulting in the fibrosis of renal tubular epithelial cells. Activation of SIRT1 or induction of autophagy inhibits this process, alleviating hypoxia‐induced fibrosis.

On Positive Deformations of *-Algebras [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1999
Motivated by deformation quantization we consider $^*$-algebras over ordered rings and their deformations: we investigate formal associative deformations compatible with the $^*$-involution and discuss a cohomological description in terms of a Hermitian Hochschild cohomology. As an ordered ring allows for a meaningful definition of positive functionals

Sprengel deformity: What is the functional outcome of conservative treatment versus surgical correction?

open access: yesOrphanet Journal of Rare Diseases
Background Sprengel deformity is a rare congenital malformation of the scapula defined by malposition during embryonic development. Affected individuals have limited range of motion of the shoulder and torticollis. Surgical reconstruction is an option to

RhoA and Rac1 as Mechanotransduction Mediators in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, EarlyView.
Analysing RhoA and Rac1 protein levels in Colorectal cancer (CRC) samples under mechanical strain highlights their potential as diagnostic markers. Monitoring their activity could offer valuable insights into how cancer spreads, paving the way for new approaches to better understand and diagnose colorectal cancer.

A polyptych of multi-centered deformation spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We study deformation spaces using multi-centered dilatations. Interpolating Fulton simple deformation space and Rost asymmetric double deformation space, we introduce (asymmetric) deformation spaces attached to chains of immersions of arbitrary lengths.
