A Two‐Stage Method for Extending Inferences From a Collection of Trials
ABSTRACT When considering the effect a treatment will cause in a population of interest, we often look to evidence from randomized controlled trials. In settings where multiple trials on a treatment are available, we may wish to synthesize the trials' participant data to obtain causally interpretable estimates of the average treatment effect in a ...

Distribution of G-concurrence of random pure states
Average entanglement of random pure states of an N x N composite system is analyzed. We compute the average value of the determinant D of the reduced state, which forms an entanglement monotone.

Structure of hyperbolic polynomial automorphisms of C2${\mathbb {C}^2}$ with disconnected Julia sets
Abstract For a hyperbolic polynomial automorphism of C2$\mathbb {C}^2$ with a disconnected Julia set, and under a mild dissipativity condition, we give a topological description of the components of the Julia set. Namely, there are finitely many “quasi‐solenoids” that govern the asymptotic behavior of the orbits of all nontrivial components.

Unified Degenerate Central Bell Polynomials
In this paper, we firstly consider extended degenerate central factorial numbers of the second kind and provide some properties of them. We then introduce unified degenerate central Bell polynomials and numbers and investigate many relations and formulas

Smoothing nodal Calabi-Yau n-folds
Let X be an n-dimensional Calabi-Yau with ordinary double points, where n is odd. Friedman showed that for n=3 the existence of a smoothing of X implies a specific type of relation between homology classes on a resolution of X. (The converse is also true,

A Note on Degenerate Hermite-Fubini Numbers and Polynomials
In this paper, we introduce a new class of degenerate Hermite-Fubini numbers and polynomials and investigate some properties of these polynomials. We establish summation formulas of these polynomials by summation techniques series. Furthermore, we derive

Probabilistic degenerate Bernoulli and degenerate Euler polynomials
Recently, many authors have studied degenerate Bernoulli and degenerate Euler polynomials. Let $Y$Y be a random variable whose moment generating function exists in a neighbourhood of the origin.

The main purpose of this paper is to provide a novel approach to deriving formulas for the p-adic q-integral including the Volkenborn integral and the p-adic fermionic integral.
