The proposed work implements a direct flux reconstruction method for spatial discretization and a stiffness‐resilient exponential time integration method for temporal discretization on the cube‐sphere grid. A space‐time tensor formalism is employed to provide a general representation in any curvilinear coordinate system. This combination enables highly

New construction of type 2 degenerate central Fubini polynomials with their certain properties
Kim et al. (Proc. Jangjeon Math. Soc. 21(4):589–598, 2018) have studied the central Fubini polynomials associated with central factorial numbers of the second kind.

Sheffer type degenerate Euler and Bernoulli polynomials
In this paper, we study some special polynomials which are related to Sheffer sequence. In addition, we give some new identities for these numbers and polynomials.

This paper presents a finite element method for simulating highly viscoelastic flows of pure polymer melts using the Elastic Viscous Stress Splitting formulation. The method avoids higher‐order derivatives in the weak formulation by reformulating the convective term in the constitutive equation.

Computing topological zeta functions of groups, algebras, and modules, II [PDF]
Building on our previous work (arXiv:1405.5711), we develop the first practical algorithm for computing topological zeta functions of nilpotent groups, non-associative algebras, and modules.

New Non-Symmetric Orthogonal Basis for the Calogero Model with Distinguishable Particles
We demonstrate an algebraic construction of all the simultaneous eigenfunctions of the conserved operators for distinguishable particles governed by the Calogero Hamiltonian.

Effects and Correction of Patient Bulk Motion in Cranial DENSE MRI
ABSTRACT Purpose Applications of DENSE to measure cardiac driven brain tissue pulsations are highly sensitive to bulk patient motion due to the sub‐millimeter displacement encoding required, limiting its accuracy, reproducibility, and use in pediatric and aging populations.

Applying Dynamics/Cost Parameter Continuation to the Optimal Guidance of Variable‐Speed Unicycle
(a) Classical parameter continuation method diverges. (b) Dynamics/cost parameter continuation method converges. ABSTRACT The problem of a variable‐speed unicycle guidance to the stationary target is considered. The vehicle should be guided to the origin while minimizing the energy loss due to the induced drag.

Manifolds with odd Euler characteristic and higher orientability
It is well-known that odd-dimensional manifolds have Euler characteristic zero. Furthemore orientable manifolds have an even Euler characteristic unless the dimension is a multiple of $4$.

Some Identities of Fully Degenerate r-Dowling Polynomials Arising from λ-Umbral Calculus
This paper introduces fully Dowling polynomials of the first and second kinds, which are degenerate versions of the ordinary Dowling polynomials. Then, several important identities for these degenerate polynomials are derived.
