Two-Scale Homogenization of Non-Linear Degenerate Evolution Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1999
Using the notion of two-scale convergence developed by Allaire, the homogenization of a degenerate nonlinear evolution equation with periodically oscillating coefficients is presented. A two-scale homogenized system is obtained as the limit of the periodic problem.

On a nonlinear degenerate evolution equation with strong damping [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1990
In this paper we consider the nonlinear degenerate evolution equation with strong damping, urn:x-wiley:01611712:media:ijmm603689:ijmm603689-math-0001 where K is a function with K(x, t) ≥ 0, K(x, 0) = 0 and F is a continuous real function satisfying urn:x-wiley:01611712:media:ijmm603689:ijmm603689-math-0002 Ω is a bounded domain of Rn, with smooth ...

Cerebrospinal Fluid Liquid Biopsy Enables Targeted Therapy Without Tissue Diagnosis in Pediatric Low‐Grade Gliomas With BRAF V600E Mutation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We present two pediatric cases of pediatric low‐grade gliomas (PLGG) with BRAF V600E mutations diagnosed and monitored using cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy analyzed via digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), without tissue biopsy. Both patients were treated with dabrafenib and trametinib and monitored through clinical assessments, magnetic ...

DELP Treatment on Vision and Retinal Microcirculation in Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke: Report of Five Cases and Literature Review

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The delipid extracorporeal lipoprotein filter from plasma (DELP) treatment can effectively reduce blood lipid, increase blood flow, and improve neurological deficits in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). However, its effect on vision and retinal microcirculation in stroke patients has never been reported.

About Bifurcations at Small Perturbations in a Logistic Equation with Delay

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2017
The article considers bifurcation problems for a logistic equation with delay at small perturbations. The most interesting results are for the case when small perturbations contain a large delay.

L p − L q $L^{p}-L^{q}$ -Maximal regularity of the Van Wijngaarden–Eringen equation in a cylindrical domain

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
We consider the maximal regularity problem for a PDE of linear acoustics, named the Van Wijngaarden–Eringen equation, that models the propagation of linear acoustic waves in isothermal bubbly liquids, wherein the bubbles are of uniform radius.

Integro-differential equations with bounded operators in Banach spaces

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2022
The paper investigates integro-differential equations in Banach spaces with operators, which are a composition of convolution and differentiation operators.

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)
