Boundedness and Exponential Stabilization in a Parabolic-Elliptic Keller—Segel Model with Signal-Dependent Motilities for Local Sensing Chemotaxis [PDF]

open access: yesActa Mathematica Scientia, 2020
In this paper we consider the initial Neumann boundary value problem for a degenerate Keller—Segel model which features a signal-dependent non-increasing motility function.

Spectral Functions, Maximum Entropy Method and Unconventional Methods in Lattice Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We present two unconventional methods of extracting information from hadronic 2-point functions produced by Monte Carlo simulations. The first is an extension of earlier work by Leinweber which combines a QCD Sum Rule approach with lattice data.

On some extensions for degenerate Frobenius-Euler-Genocchi polynomials with applications in computer modeling

open access: yesApplied Mathematics in Science and Engineering
In this work, we consider the degenerate Frobenius-Euler-Genocchi polynomials utilizing the degenerate exponential function and the degenerate Changhee-Frobenius-Euler-Genocchi polynomials utilizing the degenerate logarithm function.

Structure of the number projected BCS wave function [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We study the structure of the number projected BCS (PBCS) wave function in the particle-hole basis, displaying its similarities with coupled clusters theory (CCT).

Large Deviations for Small Noise Diffusions in a Fast Markovian Environment

open access: yes, 2017
A large deviation principle is established for a two-scale stochastic system in which the slow component is a continuous process given by a small noise finite dimensional It\^{o} stochastic differential equation, and the fast component is a finite state ...

Correlation functions in conformal Toda field theory I [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Two-dimensional sl(n) quantum Toda field theory on a sphere is considered. This theory provides an important example of conformal field theory with higher spin symmetry.

Interplay between circadian and other transcription factors—Implications for cycling transcriptome reprogramming

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Higher Equations of Motion in N = 1 SUSY Liouville Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Similarly to the ordinary bosonic Liouville field theory, in its N=1 supersymmetric version an infinite set of operator valued relations, the ``higher equations of motions'', holds.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
