High‐energy ultrafast all‐fiber lasers are demonstrated in the 1.7–1.8 μm range using a novel Tm‐doped fiber with depressed cladding for dispersion tailoring and short‐pass filtering. A parabolic core enhances optical gain, overcoming poor gain overlap in conventional depressed cladding fibers.

Substrate‐Restricted Asymmetric Evolution of Solid‐State Nanopores
Standalone nanopores can either expand or shrink based on the nucleation mechanism. A substrate‐restricted asymmetric pore dynamics are uncovered ‐ top expansion and bottom shrinkage, with minimum aperture reduced and forming a conical geometry, driven by molecular migration along an energy potential gradient within nanopores.

Homogenization of a nonlinear degenerate parabolic differential equation
In this article, we study the homogenization of the nonlinear degenerate parabolic equation $$ partial_t b({x /varepsilon},u_varepsilon) - mathop{ m div} a({x /varepsilon},{t /varepsilon}, u_varepsilon,abla u_varepsilon)=f(x,t), $$ with mixed boundary ...

Observation of Localized Resonant Phonon Polaritons in Biaxial α‐MoO3 Nanoparticles
Biaxial α‐MoO3 nanoparticles exhibit tunable, high‐Q mid‐infrared resonances driven by localized phonon polaritons. Combining a novel synthesis method, hyperspectral near‐field imaging and a unified theoretical analysis, this work reveals eigenmodes and resonance conditions in biaxial particles.

A Resistive Soft Robotic Exosuit for Dynamic Body Loading in Hypogravity
The resistive hypogravity exosuit is a lightweight wearable robotic exosuit that uses pneumatic artificial muscles to restore Earth‐like metabolic and muscular demands during locomotion in low gravity. Tested on healthy subjects in Earth and simulated Moon gravity, the suit restores energy expenditure and muscle activation without altering gait ...
