Peruvian frogs underwent a climate‐driven range expansion into deglaciating mountains, exposing themselves and their fungal pathogen Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) to challenging new thermal environments. Bd has dispersed extensively in these new habitats, and elevation may mediate the apparent sublethal impacts of infection for frogs.

Early Deglaciation in the Tropical Andes
The record of ancient glaciers is the principal source of information on high-altitude paleoclimate in the tropics, but the age of late Pleistocene glaciation throughout the tropics is poorly constrained, which complicates estimating past climate from glacial records. Seltzer et al . ([1][1])

Lower Glacial Oxygen in the Eastern Equatorial Pacific Concentrated in the Deep Sea
Abstract Oxygen in the global oceans has declined since the 1960s, including in the Eastern Equatorial Pacific (EEP). Reconstructions of EEP glacial oxygenation help advance understanding of current and projected ocean deoxygenation. Previous estimates of the glacial oxygen deficient zones (ODZs) in the upper EEP are poorly constrained. Here we include

Early to Mid‐Holocene Cool Temperature‐Induced Drought in Asian Interior
Abstract Hydroclimatic variations in mid‐latitude Asia during the early to mid‐Holocene and associated mechanisms remain disputed, hampering our understanding of atmospheric circulation controls on regional climatic changes. We report Holocene alkenone records from two Siberian lakes, documenting lake temperature and hydrological changes, and ...

Million years of Greenland Ice Sheet history recorded in ocean sediments [PDF]
Geological records from Tertiary and Quaternary terrestrial and oceanic sections have documented the presence of ice caps and sea ice covers both in the Southern and the Northern hemispheres since Eocene times, approximately since 45 Ma.

Geodynamic contributions to global climatic change [PDF]
Orbital and rotational variations perturb the latitudinal and seasonal pattern of incident solar radiation, producing major climatic change on time scales of 10(exp 4)-10(exp 6) years.
