Planning Repeated Degradation Testing for Degrading Products

2017
Degradation information regarding the system’s health state, especially from highly reliable items, has been a useful alternative for the system’s remaining useful life (RUL) estimation, as well as a valuable basis for condition based maintenance (CBM).

Degradation products of ketoconazole

Photolysis of ketoconazole in four organic solvents with free access to air studied. It is found that the degradation products occurred when using methanol as solvent and with the optimum UV irradiation duration of 15 hours give better yields than acetone, ethylacetate and chloroform in the same condition.

Glucosinolates and their degradation products

2001
Abstract Glucosinolates are the major class of secondary metabolites found in cruciferous crops. Following tissue damage they degrade to a variety of compounds of which isothiocyanates (“mustard oils”) are the most prominent. These products are of considerable biological importance.
