Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Inequalities between degree- and distance-based graph invariants

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
Inequalities provide a way to study topological indices relatively. There are two major classes of topological indices: degree-based and distance-based indices.

Kaluza-Klein description of geometric phases in graphene

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we use the Kaluza-Klein approach to describe topological defects in a graphene layer. Using this approach, we propose a geometric model allowing to discuss the quantum flux in $K$-spin subspace. Within this model, the graphene layer with a

Extremal problems on exponential vertex-degree-based topological indices

open access: yesMathematical Biosciences and Engineering, 2022
<p>In this work we obtain new lower and upper optimal bounds for general (exponential) indices of a graph. In the same direction, we show new inequalities involving some well-known topological indices like the generalized atom-bound connectivity index $ ABC_\alpha $ and the generalized second Zagreb index $ M_2^\alpha $. Moreover,

Calculating of degree-based topological indices of nanostructures [PDF]

open access: yesGeology, Ecology, and Landscapes, 2017
A larger amount of studies reveal that there is strong inherent connection between the chemical characteristics of nanostructures and their molecular structures.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

An Efficient Computational Technique for Degree and Distance Based Topological Descriptors With Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Quantitative structure-activity and structure-property associations of natural systems require terminologies for their topological properties. Structure-based topological descriptors/indices of these systems allow these chemical possessions and the ...

Stacking‐Engineered Magnonic Topology and Transport in Honeycomb Homobilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Topological magnons have emerged as a promising platform for dissipationless bosonic transport. However, a straightforward and effective strategy to engineer such topological states in real materials has yet to be fully realized. Here, a general scheme for controlling magnonic topological states via stacking engineering in van der Waals ...

On Molecular Descriptors of Carbon Nanocones

open access: yesBiomolecules, 2018
Many degree-based topological indices can be obtained from the closed-off M-polynomial of a carbon nanocone. These topological indices are numerical parameters that are associated with a structure and, in combination, determine the properties of the ...

Networks of equities in financial markets

open access: yes, 2004
We review the recent approach of correlation based networks of financial equities. We investigate portfolio of stocks at different time horizons, financial indices and volatility time series and we show that meaningful economic information can be ...
