Propagation Characteristics of a Twisted Cosine-Gaussian Correlated Radially Polarized Beam
Recently, partially coherent beams with twist phases have attracted growing interest due to their nontrivial dynamic characteristics. In this work, the propagation characteristics of a twisted cosine-Gaussian correlated radially polarized beam such as ...

Research on the Vortex States of Partially Coherent Vortex Beams
The Mutual Optical Intensity (MOI) model is further developed to simulate the propagation of partially coherent X-ray vortex beams through free space. The intensity, phase, and amplitude distributions of the degree of coherence in the far field zone are ...

Controlling the Spatial Coherence of an Optical Source Using a Spatial Filter
This paper presents the theory for controlling the spectral degree of coherence via spatial filtering. Starting with a quasi-homogeneous partially coherent source, the cross-spectral density function of the field at the output of the spatial filter is ...

Bogoliubov quasiparticles in superconducting qubits
Extending the qubit coherence times is a crucial task in building quantum information processing devices. In the three-dimensional cavity implementations of circuit QED, the coherence of superconducting qubits was improved dramatically due to cutting ...

Coherence properties of supercontinuum quantified by complex degree of self-coherence
The complex degree of self-coherence is introduced to quantify the coherence of supercontinuum generated by the same long pulse, and experiments are performed. The coherence properties of supercontinuum generated in the photonic crystal fiber pumped by 700 ps pulse are measured using the Mach-Zehnder interferometer.

Suppression of Speckle Noise in Digital Holography With Spatial and Temporal Domain Depolarization
Speckle noise in digital holography has a great influence on image quality, and one of the reasons for the formation of speckle noise is that the degree of coherence for the reference light and the object light is too high and unnecessary noise is ...

Entanglement Degree of Parasupersymmetric Coherent States of Harmonic Oscillator [PDF]
We study the boson-parafermion entanglement of the parasupersymmetric coherent states of the harmonic oscillator and derive the degree of entanglement in terms of the concurrence. The conditions for obtaining the maximal entanglement is also examined, and it is shown that in the usual supersymmetry situation we can obtain maximally entangled Bell ...
